About Us
Since 1979 Beauty in the Beast has been providing professional pet grooming North of Boston. Owner and primary groomer at Beauty in the Beast, Lisa Geis, graduated from Pedigree Professional Dog School in 1977 then honed her skills working at Pedigree Pet Shop. Lisa has been the primary groomer for the past 37 years.
Lisa is a Certified Master Groomer, fullfilling the requirements set forth by The National Dog Groomers Association of America. She has taught at North Shore Community College and sat on boards for the Animal Science Division of both the North Shore Community College and the former Essex Aggricultural and Technical High School.
Although she favors small breeds, Lisa enjoys grooming most breeds, handstripping terriers, and working with her elderly pet clientel.
